Lovely venue.

Absolutely excellent venue–all facilities excellent and accessible.

Lovely spot.

Bad: not enough tea, low water, poor customer service and coffee. Good: accessible, central to Manchester.

Would have liked refreshments at lunchtime.

Excellent conference. Great speakers. Well organised.

Lovely building. Good facilities.

Some extraneous noise.

Beautiful building and beautiful city, but I can’t help preferring London!

G1 was cold, central heating was not working, and windows were open. Forgot to refill water.

Very good location.

Location, facilities, helpful staff.

Thank you!

Building work in background.

Lovely premises.

Great space.

Teas arrived late for afternoon break.

A microphone would have helped us to hear clearly.

Great hotels nearby.

Nice venue.

Not too far from train station.

What was your level of satisfaction with Stephen Jones’s keynote address, Counselling as a Business of Love: How to Make Money and Change the World?

Thought provoking and entertaining.

Gave me much to consider. Super input!

Challenging, stimulating, brilliant!

Stimulating, relevant, funny. Challenged my thinking.

Very inspiring, great ideas around self value, referrals, philanthropy, etc.

Very engaging and inspiring.

Hope to have his presentation.

Amazing workshop. Really well organised. Full of very helpful information. Good for thought and inspiration. Would be great to have the full-day workshop.

Amazing. I feel inspired and hopeful. What I need at this time.

A real experience to hear an inspirational speaker. There were some golden nuggets and Stephen was so engaging.

High energy and lots of food for thought, although, not so relevant to a therapist at the close of her career.

Really useful and interesting perspective that was new to me.

Informative, inspiring, unexpected, thought provoking!

Inspiring!

Big and bold and fun.

Very original and incredibly motivating.

This talk made me think about things in a different way, particularly around philanthropy. He got through an amazing amount in the given time–’’The Mountain’’ and ‘’The Next 25 Years’’. A lot of food for thought.

Lots of food for thought. Delivered with much humour.

A refreshing presentation, thoroughly enjoyable and relevant and challenging. I was left with plenty to think about. Many thanks, Stephen.

If you attended it, what was your level of satisfaction with the session on Taking EFT Home and Back to the Office with Sandra Taylor?

N = 11, Mean = 4.72

Comments

Open, practical.

Deeply touching as Sandra shared her personal experience to bring the session to life.

Lovely self-disclosure that allowed everything else to flow and others to disclose.

I loved the focus of this session and how Sandra structured our discussion and exploration. So many lovely contributions from participants.

Very positive and safe. The value of reflecting more on the benefits of both routes.

Very moving sharing.

Great collaborative conversations and structured parts.

Enjoyed reflecting on how EFT has impacted me personally and my work. It felt like a very intimate setting, and I appreciated being part of this.

If you attended it, what was your level of satisfaction with the session on Empathic Attunement–Creating Safety One Moment at a Time with Sarah McConnell?

N = 15, Mean = 4.87

Comments

Very useful and encouraging to strengthen/deepen my practice.

Such an experiential training–I really need to incorporate this within/prior to a session.

So helpful, slowing down, challenging blocks.

Good mix of theory/video/experiential

If you attended it, what was your level of satisfaction with the session on Seeding Attachment: Bridging the Gap between Stage One and Stage Two with Helene Igwebuike?

N = 22, Mean = 4.95

Comments

This is the third time I’ve heard this presentation, and I never tire of it. Wonderful as ever.

Learnt lots to help me with my couples. Really valued it. Excellent.

This followed on so well from Sarah’s session. The need to be attuned in order to seed attachment at the right level is stage 1 and stage 2. It was a really helpful session and very skillfully delivered. So many helpful practical tips and examples. Reminded me of how nuanced and skillful EFT is. Making something so skillful look easy!

Really helpful to review seeding attachment, which I have found difficult. This was like hearing it for the first time, and I am excited at trying out if I can sprinkle that fairy dust!

Great content beautifully and theatrically delivered.

Clear and helpful.

The content was very helpful and incredibly well explained. I would have found it easier to read if the colour of the slides had been toned down.

A huge treat to have this input from Helene. I wish I could have digested it all but some key points really landed and I’m looking forward to revisiting the slides and my notes. I so appreciated the distinction between stage 1 and 2.

It really enhances the gaps in my practice. Very clear and helpful.

Very clear, well structured, and super helpful! Thank you!

Grateful for video recordings to illustrate.

Great, informative, easy to understand.

Engaging. Great to go into so much depth regarding seeding attachment.

Brilliant speaker, inspiring, a wonderful echo of Sue Johnson.

Insightful, Accessible.

A big leading edge for me. Really helpful to see nuance of moving from stage 1 to stage 2.

So wonderful to hear and experience EFT techniques in action.

Excellent and engaging as always!

If you attended it, what was your level of satisfaction with the session on Couple, Context, and Culture–Moving In and Moving Out with Sandra Taylor and Sarah McConnell.

N = 5, Mean = 4.8

Comments

Great to be part of the emergent nature of this topic. Would have liked more theory as this was so interesting. I expect this is part of the development.

Super examples.

Longer workshop please!

Really ?? focus and development of idea in moving vertically and horizontally. Useful roleplay. Really important development in EFT that I think Sandra and Sarah modelled from the start in the externship and core skills.

Qualitative Questions

What areas would you like to see future workshops focused around? All ideas are welcome.

More on the nuts and bolts of admin–notes, data, scheduling, clinical wills, advertising. Hold Me Tight training for running workshops.

Var v Open. No suggestions in particular, although I’m interested in intersectionality and diversity and how the p-w dance is reflected in issues concerning discrimination.

Not sure.

More videos of Sue Johnson, etc.

Trauma, trauma.

Technology–Zooms, recording, transcripts, strong data, camera in the room?

Neurodiversity, infidelity.

More on diversity, ADHD, autism/Asperger’s.

Neurodiversity–couples where one partner has ASD or ADHD.

Would it be possible to create a peer group?

EFCT note-taking (difference ways of working with notes)

EFT homework for clients.

Sex and relationships through an EFT lens.

More on context and culture in EFT couples.

Provide lunch (charge more for entry). Panel Discussion.

Affairs.

The application of EFT to issues like anxiety, depression, OCD, etc.

Would you be interested in facilitating a workshop, and, if so, what might the loose subject be? (We’d also welcome co-facilitators.)

Sex and relationship through EFT lens.

Yes.

Neurodiversity–help to share my experience working in couples where one may have ASD–challenges and issues using EFT in this context.

Sex and EFT

No!

Working with life-limiting illness, perhaps with someone else–in two years.

Happy to support anywhere I can.

Is there any other feedback you’d like to make us aware of regarding your experience today?

Thank you.

Many thanks for all that you did today: the conference team, speakers, and helpers.

Thank you so much for the effort put into organising the conference – it was great to see fellow colleagues.

So glad that I came: rejuvenating and inspiring. Thank you!

Really great day–Thank you for organising.

Thank you very much for coming up the NORTH!

Fantastic to have this in the North. Would Chester be another possible venue–direct train from London? Maybe in a couple of years?

The one thing I missed was the lovely fruit bowl BEFT usually has at the conference. Apart from this tiny detail, it was super! Thank you so much to all organisers and speakers.

Would you consider a two-day conference? I learned so much that I’d like more.

Can you please consider to set the table differently? My neck hurts|😀

Thank you all.

Great conference.

Thank you. This was a great day. Brilliant to have it in the North.

Record all sessions. Pay for online attendance.

I would love the ethos of special that is so present in externship and core skills to bleed more into the culture of a BEFT conference. More rewarding for therapists.

Thank you. Lovely to be with people in person and not on Zoom.

The screen for the PowerPoints was a little dark.

Appreciated the Manchester venue!
